E-bike

I would like to reserve two or more e-bikes, but if the number of users is reduced to two, the reservation will disappear.
Please proceed with the number of users set to 1, add one bicycle to the cart, then select another bicycle and add it to the cart again.
I want to borrow a spare battery, but when I set the spare battery to 1, it disappears.
After adding the bicycle to the cart, ask them to set e-bike rental to 0 and spare battery to 1 under the number of users, then select one spare battery and add it to the cart.

If the vehicle is vacant, reservations can be made until 6:59 on the same day.
When can I ride?
E-bikes are available for one-day rental from 7:00 to 17:00. You can pick it up anytime after 7:00.
By when do I need to return the item?
E-bikes are available for one-day rental from 7:00 to 17:00. Please return it by 17:00. If the time has passed, please contact us using the inquiry form below.

Is it necessary to wear a helmet?
Wearing a helmet is mandatory, but we would appreciate it if you would consider wearing a helmet for your safety.
Where are the batteries and chargers
Batteries, helmets, and chargers are in the locker. It can be opened with a separate key attached to your bicycle lock. When returning the device, please return it to the locker and place the battery in the charger.
What should I do if I want to rent for several days in a row?
Vehicles are rented on a daily basis, so please make reservations for the number of days you need.
If you are able to manage your vehicle properly, there is no need to return it to Okuhida base every day. Please also bring a charger.
Is it okay to bring my charger with me?
If you plan to use it for a long time or for several days, please also bring a charger. When returning the device, please return it in the locker like batteries etc.
I proceeded to the credit card payment screen, but went back by mistake, so I proceeded with the reservation from the calendar again, but the bicycle was marked with a ✕ and I could no longer make a reservation. What should I do?
Once you proceed to the credit card payment screen, a provisional reservation will be made. The reservation will be canceled after 30 minutes, so please wait 30 minutes and then proceed with your reservation from the calendar again. Or, if another vehicle is available, please reserve it.

You will need to download the LUUP app. Please download and use it.

From what age can you use it?
Available to people over 16 years old
Do I need a driver's license?
No driver's license required. However, please follow the driving rules when using the service.
Where should I return it?
Freely returnable between ports.
Currently, the ports are located at Hirayu Onsen Okuhida Base and Fukuji Onsen Okuhida Banbakan

I will temporarily leave the LUUP (vehicle body) for meals and sightseeing. How do I lock and unlock it?
After starting your ride, you can temporarily lock and park your aircraft
STEP1）Lock the aircraft using the LUUP app
Tap "Temporary Stop" at the top of the map screen and lock the aircraft.
STEP2）Temporarily stopped
Charges will apply even when the vehicle is temporarily stopped.
STEP3）Unlock the key and resume riding
Tap "Unlock" at the top of the map screen to unlock the aircraft. Make sure the key is unlocked and resume riding.

*Temporary parking is prohibited in areas where parking is not permitted.
Unattended parking violations are subject to penalties. Please do not park on public roads, but only temporarily in a place where parking is permitted, such as a parking space for bicycles or motorcycles.
How long does it take to get to Hirayu Onsen and Fukuchi Onsen?
The journey from Hirayu Onsen to Fukuchi Onsen is downhill, so it takes about 15 to 20 minutes.
The journey from Fukuchi Onsen to Hirayu Onsen is uphill, so it takes about 25 to 30 minutes.
Can I go to Takayama, Kamikochi, and Norikura Skyline?
Can not go. Please use the local bus.
Okuhida has many slopes, is that okay?
You can also drive on the slopes in the Okuhida area with LUUP. However, the driving speed on uphill slopes is about 6 to 15 km/h.
Also, going downhill is dangerous because it is easy to speed up. please note. Always drive slowly while applying the brakes.
How long does the battery last?
Although it varies depending on usage conditions such as weather and weight, from Hirayu Onsen, it is about a round trip to Tochio Onsen and Michi-no-Eki Okuhida, and from Fukuji Onsen, it is about a round trip to Shinhotaka Ropeway. Additionally, battery performance may deteriorate in late fall and early spring due to low temperatures.
I'm worried about electricity cutting out. OK?
Basically it's okay.
However, depending on usage conditions, the battery may run out. Please bring the AC adapter (power cord) found on or around the vehicle.
Please obtain permission from the shop owner at a restaurant or tourist spot and charge your bicycle while it is parked.
Additionally, battery performance may deteriorate in late fall and early spring due to low temperatures.
What should I do if the battery runs out?
We apologize for the inconvenience, but please charge it with the AC adapter (power cord) or push it back to the port.
Please be careful not to run out of electricity. There will be a charge if you come to the rescue.
Estimated rescue cost: 5,000 yen to 30,000 yen (varies depending on rescue location and situation)
Can I use it in winter too?
Can not do. The business period is from April to November. Please do not use the facility during periods of snowfall or snowfall, even during business hours.
Are not you cold?
The Okuhida area is a mountainous region with an altitude of approximately 700 to 1,300 meters. Even in summer, we recommend wearing clothes that do not allow wind to pass through.
In early spring and late fall, we recommend wearing warm clothing that prevents wind from passing through both the top and bottom, as well as gloves.
Also, if it is very cold, it is recommended to reduce your speed and drive slowly.
